Manage or cancel your membership

Membership is billed through your Apple Account. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and choose WhatsCook.ing, or reach the same screen from Profile in the app. To stop the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancelling keeps access to the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Delete your account

In the app, open Profile and choose Delete account. This removes your sign-in, your meal plans, pantry, logs and BioAge history from our systems, and revokes Sign in with Apple if you used it. If you cannot open the app, email us from the address you signed up with and we will delete the account for you.

Common questions

  1. Is BioAge medical? No. It is an estimate built from your age and the meals you log, not a diagnosis, and the method is in the app under How is your BioAge calculated, on Home.
  2. Is the first week free? Yes. Your first 7 days are free when you start a plan through your Apple Account, and if you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, you pay nothing. After that, membership is $29.99 a month or $179.99 a year in the US, or the local price shown on the App Store in other countries.
  3. Where do the meals come from? They are written from your goals, your tastes and what is in your pantry, around the diet and allergies you set, and each meal's ingredients are checked against the vegan, vegetarian, eggitarian, pescatarian and keto rules and eight common allergens. The check matches ingredient names against lists of common allergen foods, so it can miss a hidden source such as the wheat in some sauces; if an allergy or another need is medical for you, check every label yourself.
